It Takes a Village

IT TAKES A VILLAGE- The Plant City Bing Rooming House Museum experience is a reality thanks to our supporters and donors since the effort began in 1995. It takes a dream and community to create, foster and build true diversity. Every year the consciousness of Greater Plant City area leads those to include the Bing House Museum as part of their charitable outreach. We are proud to have the following donors for 2020-20121.

Rick & Di Lott Family Foundation // Green Family Foundation

Bing Family Foundation // Terry Jackson Family Foundation

Jarrett Scott Ford // Verner Foundation // Felton's Meat & Produce // Charlow Funeral Home

Bill & Marsha Passmore // Dr. Bernard Robinson // South Florida Baptist Hospital

Publix Supermarket Charities // Florida Strawberry Festival // Culligan Water

Hillsborough County Office of Neighborhood Relations

This past year the donations and support received allowed us to complete restoration of the rear one story section, open several exhibits and finally launch the Taste of Laura Street Food Forks & Fun Experience.

YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED- Each year the Bing House provides free tours to local schools, hosts a number of public events such as Make Plant City, classes of former Marshall High School Alumni and FAMU Plant City Chapter. We appreciate any consideration given to our mission and purpose. Click our "donate" box below.

The Plant City Bing Rooming House is proud and honored to have the support of the City of Plant City, State of Florida Historic Preservation Division and funding in part b the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
